In her usual entertaining and informative style, our Managing Director and Principal, Athena Koelmeyer, will guide employers through the tangled web of legislative obligations they face when dealing with an injured employee:

  • Workers Compensation - the impact of claims on what employers can and can't do in terms of the injured employee's employment.
  • Disability Discrimination - what do the terms 'inherent requirements' and 'reasonable adjustments' mean?
  • Medical Evidence - what evidence do employers need to make a soundly based decision to terminate an injured employee's employment?
  • Defending general protections and unfair dismissal claims.
  • What can employers do when an injured employee presents an increased WHS risk to themselves and their fellow employees?

The webinar will begin at 11.00am (AEST) on Tuesday, 30 August 2022.
